27.12.2013 19:22Есть еще CueTools для нарезки, и Xrecode II. По мне CUETools довольно таки удобная, и она мне больше понравилась чем cue splitter

28.01.2014 12:23Hello, all. I recently purchased the ATP from a fellow ebayer and have been pairing it with headphones and portable amps. I also have been comparing with other DAPs I own which include the Ibasso DX100, DX50, Hisound Studio 3rd Anniversary and Teclast T51.
Many of the impressions I have will be similar to ones that have been expressed in this thread and previous threads. The build quality is top notch. I feel confident carrying it around which is one of my prime considerations in a portable. I only use the DX100 as a bed side rig and the others with the exception of the Studio I keep in protective cases. The lack of a screen actually is benefit here as that is usually the most vulnerable part of the player.
I also like the fact the play starts up immediately when you insert the SD Card. Appreciate there are no freeze ups or resets which seem to beset the Teclast and Studio on a frequent basis. That is also the advantage of the simple interface. Of course, I do miss the ease of searching a large number of albums and tracks on the other players. Yes, I know about taking a picture of the directory, but this low tech solution really detracts from the portability as you have to tote around the phone and have to constantly fish for it. As stated previously, the lack of a true pause is a killer no matter how long the song is. I get constantly interrupted during the day and it is very annoying having to go back to the start of a song. I am no engineer or designer, but I just think if bare bottom hunks of junk can have pause, a player which the maker states is the best portable on the market and prices it accordingly can do the same.
The sound quality, as been repeatedly commented, is definitely up there with the DX100 with a caveat. Because of the high impedance, I found that the TP pairs well with a much more limited number of phones I have. Headphones like the Shure SE535, Etymotic HF5 sound harsh and constricted where they shine on the DX100. Also, low end bang for your buck headphones with high bass I have for working out like the Phillips 3580and Monoprice will sound better and more organic than the UE TF 10 and SE535. I found of all the headphones I tried, the Sennheiser IE8, and cans like the Phillips Uptown and JVC- HAS40, pair particularly well with the TP. It would be useful for the moderator of this thread to include a list of headphones that pair well with the player as a guide for those thinking of buying it. To me this is the biggest criticism. I high end audiophile player should be adaptable to as many different headphones and to maximize the strengths of those players. And also to do this without an external amp as that cuts down on portability and increases price. It is for this reason that the DX100 has the biggest advantage over the TP. However, with the right pairing, the TP sounds very euphonic, organic, non fatiguing and without background noise and in those areas, it is better than the DX100. I will still give the DX100 the nod in detail.
Also, because of the high impedance, there should have been a true line out for the option of an amp. To me, it seems unnecessary to have two headphone jacks. I have used the TP with a Fiio E6 to reduce the size and cost, and it definitely improves the overall sound and particularly at the low end. However, because of the double amp issue, a line out would have been helpful. The Teclast, for example, is a great example of a relatively cheap player that takes advantage of this.
Once thing I do like is the battery life. Only the Studio has longer life of the ones I own.
I think Altmann squeezed as much out of an old chip as he could get. I have no problem with the TP playing only WAV, but I do question why a choice of DAC that only plays 16 bit for bit when even at the time the TP came out, high end players like Colorfly were using those that can play 24 bit WAV. Yes, I know there is not much of a difference between 16 and 24, but there is a difference, and for the high end audiophile market that difference is what the consumer is looking for and willing to pay the premium. It is a bit disingenuous when the TP web site states that the player can play 24 bit WAV but not state it does not play bit for bit.
From my review, it would sound I am judging this player harshly. It is a wonderfully sounding player and outshines most DAPS on the market. However, because of the player's price as well as the pronouncements of its maker, the TP has to be compared to a very high standard that gets higher every year with now mid level DAPs coming out with capabilities approaching the high end and with prices practically 90 to 80% less than the TP. Charles should be commended for designing and creating a player of this caliber from scratch without the benefit of a budget or staff. One what can only imagine what Charles could produce with such resources at his disposal.
